This Easter, the Church joyfully proclaims Lumen Christi — the light of Christ that breaks through the darkness of sin and death. After reflecting on Christ’s total self-giving in his Passion, we now celebrate the Resurrection, which fills our lives with new light and hope. Like the holy women at the tomb, we are invited to encounter the Risen Jesus and bring His light into our daily lives, no matter how ordinary or challenging they may be.
In this Jubilee Year, as Pilgrims of Hope, we are called to walk forward with renewed faith, seeing everything in the light of God’s love. Easter reminds us that we are not trapped by our past or our weaknesses; rather, through faith, charity, and hope, Christ renews everything. As we return to our “Galilee” — to the rhythm of everyday life — we do so with the joy of knowing that Jesus is by our side. Strengthened by His Resurrection and guided by our Blessed Mother, we carry the light of Easter into the world, living each day as true pilgrims of hope.
